LIV Golf star and reigning US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau will participate in the International Series India presented by DLF from January 30 to February 2.
The captain of Crushers GC will be joined by his teammate Anirban Lahiri from India for this inaugural event of 10 elevated tournaments on the 2025 Asian Tour calendar, with additional prominent players set to be announced for the $2 million competition at DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram.
At 31 years old, DeChambeau secured the US Open title at Pinehurst in June, adding to his previous victory at Winged Foot in 2020. His participation will mark the first time a defending major champion has taken part in an official tour event in the Indian subcontinent.
With two wins on the LIV Golf League and seven PGA Tour victories, along with his two major titles, DeChambeau is recognized as one of the most exciting figures in contemporary sports, known worldwide for his unconventional approach to golf.

From gaining weight to enhance driving distance to creating his own clubs, he is celebrated for his analytical mindset and distinctive vision that have led to significant improvements and successes over time.
With a YouTube following of 1.6 million and 2.1 million on Instagram, the American is also making strides in content creation, bringing a new and vital online audience to golf.
This will be DeChambeau's third appearance on the Asian Tour, having previously competed in the PIF Saudi International in both 2022 and 2023.
The International Series India presented by DLF is the first tournament within the LIV Golf-supported series to take place on the subcontinent. It is part of a broader series comprising 10 events across various markets including Macau, Morocco, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, with more locations to be announced soon.
The series provides players globally with a pathway to join the LIV Golf League, where the end-of-season rankings champion secures a spot for the next season. Additionally, players can earn a second chance to qualify for the LIV Golf League through the innovative LIV Golf Promotions event based on International Series Rankings.
